Compact uncapping table

1-meter-high uncapping table designed for manual uncapping of super or brood frames
Perspex bar for holding frame in place whilst uncapping frames at angle.
Cappings scraped into 2-phase bucket system with sieve to separate wax cappings and residue honey.

Box can be set up as a stand-alone or on swivel base, facing direct sun.
On hot sunny days, internal temperature can reach up to 100°C.
Wax cappings will melt within 45 minutes to an hour.
Includes internal tray directing molten wax and honey into receptacle.
Once cooled, the wax forms a perfect slab above the honey.
Honey may be darkened due to heating but is still good for consumption. Makes great cough syrup or can be used for making a dark mead.
Single glaze glass which can be easily cleaned. We suggest that the box be covered when not in use to protect from strong sunlight, rain and hail.

Fits perfectly over a 20-litre plastic bucket with paddle extending into honey.
Ideal for light honeys with thin viscosity.
Recommended that seeded honey crystals be added to the bulk honey.
Recommend using a timer to run the machine thirty minutes on, thirty minutes off, or through experimentation.
Monitor the creaming to obtain the right texture.
Bottle the creamed honey using honey gate attached to bucket.
